Roob Mcfadyen

Starting with a hello! I am Roob, I am a new teacher who is very excited to start teaching new students! I am studying TEFL and will have my certification soon! I also founded a club during my high school years specifically for students who did not speak English, and assisted them with settling into the school as well as developing their language skills! I have many friends from China to Brazil, who I’ve met through language apps and online who I have taught informally, many of whom speak English very well now!

As for my classes!

Our first interaction will be about you! We will discuss what your goals are, how often you’d like classes, your interests and so on! This is so I am able to create lessons specifically for you! It will also give us a chance to get to know each other before starting with lessons!

The main lessons will be taught entirely in English and made to cater to your level of language skill. I will make my classes fun and interactive (if that’s your style of learning!) and make sure it is as engaging and stimulating as possible!

My classes are friendly to people with learning difficulties and I am always open to new ideas for learning if you think that would help you! (For example, I learn best when I get to use lots of colourful pens and markers!)

I offer online (this can be on zoom, discord or teams) or in person classes, I am happy to meet with you at your home depending on distance or at another location (a cafe for example!)
