I am willing to teach both cooking and baking, as my passion for catering is split between the two! I learned to cook and bake to a professional standard at Highbury College in Portsmouth, where I gained both Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Kitchen & Larder, and Pastry & Confectionary.
I am a friendly and patient individual and believe that cooking is supposed to be creative and enjoyable, so there is plenty of room for mistakes and fun in my lessons!
I have over 2 years catering experience since I left college- I started at the Lord John Russell as Kitchen Assistant, before being promoted to Kitchen Manager. I then moved on to Bella Mia Gelato, where I learned the art of creating Artisan Italian Gelato!
I also ran the day shift at Stoked Kitchen and Pizza Ltd Cafe for some time, where I was able to develop dessert recipe ideas for the business including a range of dessert pizzas!
I was additionally given the responsibility of creating a sample menu for Stoked Kitchen, which allowed me the opportunity to bring some of my own creative ideas to the business.
