My starter lesson would be a "get to know you" session. In this, you would tell me a bit about yourself and what it is that you feel you need to focus most on in Mathematics. From this point, we would begin to focus on your weaker areas and strengthen them to the point where you feel confident in that area. Exam preparation is essential and I am here to provide you the secrets to achieving the Grade 9 that I achieved in Maths GCSE. I am able to break down difficult problems into simpler and more logical ones to help you see the questions and the subject in a different, more approachable way. In year 10, I was achieving Grade 5s in Maths but I had put my mind to fixing this and picked up unique and efficient revision styles to secure the Grade 9 in the end. I am able to teach both foundation students and higher students to get at least a grade higher in their exams. My lessons are formatted in a way that means you would get efficient exam skill and enhanced subject knowledge - this would be done through working on things such as: past papers, topic specific papers, note taking etc. I like to simplify my lessons as much as possible and am a friendly person and approachable for difficult problems in maths.
