In my lessons, I try to give you a little bit of everything. Initially we would explore which areas of the topic you are weakest on, and hone our focus into those topics, whilst broadening your understanding of the subject as a whole. After discussing challenging concepts and formulating an approach to tackle them more effectively, we would consolidate your knowledge in the form of a quiz to recap what we have learnt during the lesson and allow you to track your progress. I am very determined to provide high quality tutoring, and am driven to spread knowledge to those who require it, so you can be assured that I will do everything I can to help you succeed in your studies. Having already tutored 11+ students over lockdown, I am familiar with the dynamics of a tutoring session and how best to help students understand and retain information, and ultimately perform above and beyond in examinations. Typically, lessons may comprise us going through a PowerPoint presentation or reading an extract, and then discussing the topic in detail so that we can see the application of concepts and where bits and pieces fit together in the subject. I am also very organised, so you can be assured that lessons will be well-structured and you get the most out of the time I am tutoring you. I am flexible in terms of hours and the location of lessons - I am available on most days and am willing to provide in-person or online sessions. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you're interested!
