Hiya!

My name’s Roisin and I will be your tutor this year!! I specialise in Biology and Geography GCSE.

My lessons are for students who LOVE being interactive. Before starting the lesson - we will go over the goals for the session and tick them off as we go. For a little ice-breaker, we will do a quiz to recap on the last lesson. Doesn’t that sound fun?

I mainly use powerpoints, which have clear diagrams and fun videos inserted, to help explain content and break it down into simpler terms for you to understand.

Mid-way or near the end we will go over exam-style questions - which will help highlight what you need go over in your revision. But beware.. I will ask you plenty of questions throughout the session to ensure your understanding of the topic!

If there are any questions or confusion - you can stop me at ANY time and ask. I don’t bite!

I have had years of experience with studying and revising. For years, I always have been a dedicated student (which lead me to achieving fantastic grades, come my GCSEs). Now, I am studying Applied Science at my local college and I’m still achieving high grades ??. Due to my enthusiasm, I will be able to provide techniques and notes, in order for YOU to achieve the best grades that you can this year. These techniques are what got me through my GCSEs - and what encourage me today!
