All the lessons will take place on WhatsApp. The contents are tailor-made, depending on your basics and needs. You are required to already have a grasp of the Japanese writing system (hiragana, katakana), and essential phrases and expressions (A2-B1 level).
I typically use Minna No Nihongo or Marugoto for my class activities, which I will share with you in advance. Due to the limited time of the lessons, you will also have to prepare assigned chapters and exercises prior to each meeting.
Please keep in mind that the lessons will essentially focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading and speaking. Therefore, there won't be any sessions on written expression or kanji practice.
To boost your conversation skills, we will first speak in both English and Japanese, then gradually in Japanese only as we move on through the learning contents.
