Rohan Prasad

Hi! I’m Rohan and I am a recent graduate of BSc Natural Sciences, where I specialised in Neuroscience and Organic Chemistry. I have, additionally, taken university level courses in inorganic and physical chemistry, statistics, mathematics, earth science, and computer programming. I hope now to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical engineering or neuroscience and go on to do a PhD in computational neuroscience!

My lessons are designed to be highly interactive, where some preparation will need to be done by the tutees (often a small reading or problem sheet set by me) in order to best benefit from the lesson. I, myself, prepare a set of slides or notes and teach the content, integrating exam-style examples and interesting diagrams to help explain the many complex concepts covered in science subjects!

As different students learn in a variety of different ways, helping them to understand how they leaen and how best to structure their studies and revision is a tactic I have used to prepare my students for exam success. As such, I have also prepared a “How to Revise” information booklet, designed to inform students on some of the top ways to be secure in their knowledge and understanding of secondary school science, so they can optimise their time and have fun learning science at the same time!

I have been tutoring for 4 years and provide students with support for their university applications (personal statement reviews, admissions test prep, and interview practice in particular) in addition to subject tutoring.
