I grew up in the USA, Utah and was named after the Rocky Mountains (Rockies). After moving to the United Kingdom, I worked for a math's and English tuition company called Explore Learning Ltd. I taught children between the ages of 4-14 math's and English alongside studying in high school and university. I have also worked for Exscitec Ltd to aspire young adults to pursue higher education in impoverished areas in the United Kingdom. I have a master’s degree in Drug Discovery from Kings College London and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Brunel University. In my spare time, I like to travel around the world.
I have strong interest in Alzheimer's disease and genetics, having done both of my final year projects in this topic at university.
I have teaching experience in martial arts as an assistant coach at franchise called Gracie Barra and I also enjoy teaching English as a second language.
It would be a pleasure to teach my students science. My passion for teaching comes from seeing my students understand I topic that I am explaining and thrive as a result.
My teaching methods are to express my enthusiasm for the topic that I love and always show my appreciation when a student understands what I am teaching them. I am extremely positive and patient and will find different ways to guide my student.
