Hello, future student!

I’m Rocío, a Spanish teacher with over five years of experience, from Seville, Andalusia, Spain. I specialise in creating enjoyable, effective, and high quality lessons tailored to your needs and with specific objectives. I have a strong background in communication and a Master's degree in Performing Arts. I apply this training to my classes by bringing creativity and structure to each session, ensuring a dynamic learning experience.

I always adapt my lessons to the student’s needs. I have experience preparing classes for official exams, business, travel, improving fluency, grammar, Spanish for children, and even theatre classes in Spanish. Just tell me what you're thinking, and we’ll go for it!

I believe that learning should be stimulating. That’s why I like to incorporate Spanish and Andalusian culture into my lessons so that the language comes to life. You’ll have the opportunity to explore Spanish through a variety of interactive materials such as videos, audios, articles, book extracts, and games, all designed to make learning both fun and effective.

I have experience teaching students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced (B1,C1), and I have also worked with children aged between 8 and 16. My approach is always focused on helping you improve your fluency and deepen your understanding of the cultural context of the language.

As for my background: I have a Master’s in Performing Arts, a degree in Communication, and experience with a variety of teaching methods, suitable for different learning styles and ages. I also have a B2 level in English, so we can use it as a support language when necessary.

What can you expect from my lessons? Each lesson is tailored to your learning style, whether you’re looking to build a solid foundation in grammar, improve your conversational skills, or explore the richness of Spanish culture. My goal is to ensure you feel confident and motivated every step of the way on your language journey.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading and learning new things, going to the theatre, watching films, and spending time outdoors with my dog Milka and my cat Sombra, who might make a special appearance during our classes. I believe that learning a language is not just about learning words, but about connecting with the world around us in a meaningful way.

I have different methodologies so if you feel that my approach is not working, don't feel afraid of letting me know and I will try something different. I strongly believe that making the student feel confident to ask for what he/she needs is the key to success.

You can be sure that we will learn and have A LOT of fun while we have engaging and rewarding classes.

When I'm not teaching: I love do yoga, going Theatre, watching movies and spending time in nature with my boyfriend and Milka, my little dog. You will also probably know my cat Sombra, she's always trying to appear on my camera when I'm teaching hahaha.
