I have been teaching young students for 6 years now. Teaching English for two years in Cambodia for students 3 to 7 years of age. Also a various of subjects such as Biology, Geography and History. I taught for four years in South Africa, for students 5 to 10 years of age. I now permanently reside in the UK. I use various of teaching methods, depending on the child's learning capabilities. All children are unique in their own way and learn at their own pace. Some students may learn best through visual aids, while others may benefit more from hands-on activities or group projects. I will get to know and assess the student after a few lessons and adapt the teaching strategy. I always encourage teamwork and partnership. Different minds generate various perspectives and viewpoints that help students understand the concepts better and more effectively. Some learners find it easier to retain information if their lessons are broken up into multiple short sessions or modules. I enjoy detailed discussions on topics or ideas that eventually boosts students' confidence, productivity, and implementation skills. It also improves their comprehension, speaking, and listening skills that reflect in their assessments. My favourite teaching method is combining words and visuals such as pictures and diagrams in lessons in order to improve the learning and memory of the student. Overall I believe in a positive learning environment where students engage with the material. Where we can be interactive and engaging during lessons. I want students to reach their full potential.
