Robin Kendall

Hello! I am an English Tutor from Oxford, with particular specialisms in Theatre and Shakespeare, having been lucky enough to study with the University of Warwick, King’s College London and the Globe Theatre.

I have also worked as a higher level teaching assistant and cover supervisor for an English Department in an Ofsted Outstanding school in London, leading both full classes and one-on-one sessions for those students who struggle with English a little more.

I am flexible in terms of lesson style. I would normally suggest working through syllabus and/or examination mark-schemes for GCSE and A-Level students and focus more on key themes of core texts for years 7-9. I am also happy to offer help and direction in reading around set topics, which can be useful in reaching for those elusive A*s at A-Level. I can be as hands on or as hands off as suits your individual style.

If your text of study is one which I haven’t read (which is highly unusual!) I may need a few days to prepare some notes, but generally speaking I can be available at short notice for any queries.
