Greetings! I’m Roberto your bilingual chemist tutor. I have worked many years in the analytical chemistry field but my knowledges are vast since I worked and managed a physical chemistry laboratory with a solid base spanning from organic chemistry, organic analysis, instrumental analysis to environmental chemistry, basic chemistry, nuclear and polymers chemistry.
I also have a degree in geomagnetism besides the chemistry bachelor of science for having this passion for geosciences and the environment.
Lately I have been dealing with methods validation and statistical analysis on my master, which I just finished and the thesis is about teaching descriptive statistics measuring water density and the processing of these kind of data.
In our classes we’ll explore the mysteries of nature and matter in the most comprehensive way possible through many and diverse examples and methods. We can use the many programs available to visualize molecules, and several techniques which can provide an “X-Ray”, or “DNA” of the molecule, compound or specimen of interest. Though some drawing and atomic model we can also look at molecules in a tridimensional way and demonstrate the mechanisms of reactions and so on.
Most important is to have imagination to create those images in your mind and foresee what you’ll have to face or deal in day to day life, what will happen in your reaction or industrial process.
The laboratory is the heart of any enterprise as my father uses to say, he also is a chemist and used to teach many years ago. I used to ask to be brought to the classes and it already imparted me a huge impression and knowledge since early to have the privilege of being his son and to live chemistry everyday of my life, having the eyes to see and notice the trivial, to be always questioning, philosophising and having the ability to teach and share knowledge also to stay sharp in subjects and help people out since I’m a polyglot in a few languages. We can also use some AI tools and then check if they match literature.
You can check my article on the link below and follow me on linked-in if you like to.
Our classes are going to be fantastic and I can only hope to help out and deepen chemistry comprehension in the best manner.
