Teaching absolute beginners to intermediate levels and various ages. My teaching benefits from a high level of patience, understanding and enthusiasm for the instrument.

Profile
A driven, organised self-starter, showing creativity and versatility as a drummer with over 10 years of collaborative songwriting and session work I also hold several years of experience in artist development. Alongside this I have experience in private tutoring and group sessions in drum workshops. Having achieved grade 5 in drums, I have advanced in academia through drum performance at BIMM university, further improving my knowledge of playing techniques, genres, and theory. Following the completion of my degree, I am currently looking to expand my employment in drum tutorship.

Performance
Acts include:
* Shadowplay: The Official UK Joy Division Tribute * Boy Marina * Cara Cara * Sweet Baby James + many more.
With many years of experience in session work and collaborative projects, gigging and touring extensively over the past 10 + years, I have developed confidence in my abilities.

Throughout my degree, I advanced my drumming technique, performance and theory, studying under world-class drummers such as Erik Stams (Rhythm Magazine) and Giuseppe Grondona (Tormento [Tototono]). This allows me to feel capable of teaching my students to higher levels.

Drum Workshops
Matrix Trust

I led a drum workshop for Matrix Trust, a local Christian charity that aims to support disadvantaged youths in the community.

This involved planning and hosting an hour-long group session with young people aged 11-18. I integrated what I had learned at university by teaching various rhythms and styles.
