I am a friendly and patient teacher.I have a enhanced DBS certificate.A typical piano lesson that I teach will begin with a review of what we did at our last lesson.Any difficulties you may have will be looked into and discussed to find out the best solution.What new pieces you like an would like to learn.As I teach all piano music styles this can be from classical to pop.If you don't have a piano or a keyboard I can help you with that as you will need a instrument to practice on.There are many types of pianos to choose from from a grand piano to a upright piano.Then there also electric pianos,which are very popular because you can turn the sound down low if you don't want to disturb people,or you can listen to yourself playing using headphones.I can also teach you how to read music which is very important for you to be able to play anything you like.The important thing to remember is that to become a good pianist you need to practise every day.Depending on how much spare time you have,you should do a at least half an hour practice daily.This will speed up your learning as,practice makes perfect.I will give you one lesson a week and with my teaching style help you to become good.
