With extensive experience in strategic change management, transformation projects, and business process optimisation, I have successfully led large-scale initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and organisational growth. My background in project management for multi million projects, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement methodologies positions me well to lead transformative change at the university.

In my current roles I have been instrumental in delivering change and transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. I have led initiatives to streamline procurement processes and cost efficiency, implement automated compliance monitoring, and integrate sustainability strategies into contract deliveries. These projects required cross-departmental collaboration, process re-engineering, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic objectives.

I have a proven track record of end-to-end project delivery, from initial scoping and stakeholder engagement to business case development, implementation, and benefits realisation. For example in my previous role inthe prive sector, I successfully led the restructuring of contract management processes, improving supplier performance and reducing costs. Through KPI refinements and asset surveys, with undertake of Lean and Agile methodologies along with decades of experiencewith prince 2, I identified inefficiencies, developed new procedures, and introduced digital solutions that enhanced transparency and operational effectiveness.

My experience with organisational change includes managing and support large-scale restructures, process automation, and cultural transformation programmes. I played a key role in a change management initiative that consolidated multiple departments, optimising resources while maintaining service excellence. I worked closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and external partners to ensure smooth transitions, clear communication, and staff engagement throughout the process.

I am highly skilled in stakeholder management, governance, and risk mitigation, ensuring that transformation programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with institutional goals. My ability to influence at all levels, foster collaboration, and manage resistance to change has been critical in delivering successful outcomes. Additionally, my experience in procurement, compliance, and financial management enables me to implement cost-effective change initiatives with measurable impact.

Academically, I hold an MSc in Project Management and am currently pursuing a PhD focused on supporting individuals with SEND in Higher Education apprenticeships. My chartered memberships and education, including MCIOB, MAPM, and change management certifications, provide me with a structured approach to strategic planning, transformation leadership, and continuous improvement.
