Robert Brady

I am a student at the University of Glasgow and I teach Piano, Music Theory & English part time. I am planning a future career in education and academia. My part time teaching is essential early experience for my future career aims. I have always had a passion for teaching and I want to pass my knowledge down to people who need it most.

I teach Piano and Music Theory to people of all ages and levels. I always strive to find a balance between the rigorous teaching of fundamentals, with creating fun and unique lessons for those with a passion for learning. I can walk people through their formal (ABRSM/SQA Higher etc.) Piano exams or, alternatively, help them learn their favourite songs. Music theory lies at the foundation of all my teaching and I always try to link the practical, with the underlying theory behind it.

I am also a native English speaker and teach English to non-native speakers, who want to improve their English speaking. We can work on formal English or more vernacular (informal) English speaking. I am currently working on my TEFL certificate and have experience teaching English to native Mandarin speakers. *I can also speak and write a little Mandarin.

My lessons are usually 30 minutes or 1 hour.
