I have a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance, as well as a Diploma in Vocal Health first aid. In my experience, I have discovered that a combination of teaching methods is what makes the most valuable work for students.

Using techniques including Estill, Speech-level singing, combined with scientific approaches - has been my go-to in finding the right balance to allow students to fully comprehend and understand the movement of the voice whilst still allowing an easy way to “make things happen”.

I love working with students of all levels to allow for growth and development - whether that be wanting to work on one specific song, updating their current “go-to songs”, or developing their style - I love working with each individual and adapting the lesson to them.

No one student is the same and therefore their lessons should be personalised and created to suit them. The different teaching methods I have studied has enabled me to use different imagery and techniques to help a student grow.

Singing is such a vulnerable thing and my goal is to make the student feel comfortable and able to express themselves through song.

So, whether you want to improve technique, work on acting through song, or improve current repertoire - I am more than happy to assist and create that well-rounded and versatile singer that you want to be.

Working with students of any level makes this job even more interesting, as it allows me to develop different teaching skills and grow as a teacher.
