My lessons are very much structured around your needs and style of learning. During our first free session, not only will I become familiar with the specific aspects you need tutoring in, but I will also come to recognise your learning style. Everyone learns in different ways and it's important as a tutor for me to understand how best to support you during these sessions. I will be able to tailor all my tutoring to suit your needs; from using presentations, to handouts, or simply just explaining things through words. It will solely be based on you. I will also be able to learn about any extra needs you may want me to meet during our sessions. As a qualified Mental Health First Aider I have supported many individuals in regards to mental health conditions and learning difficulties, including ADHD, autism and anxiety. This will also be something I encorporate into my sessions. Anything that you dislike or find distacting or distressing will not be allowed in our sessions. And you will always be welcome to state your opinion on how the sessions are going. If you think that there is something that could be done better, or something that you think is missing, you are always welcome to let me know. I've been teaching and coaching for over 10 years now to a range of ages and on several different topics, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing something that you've been struggling with for ages finally click.
