After working for the National Health Service, I decided a change was needed and became a mature student at the International Film School for Wales, undertaking a degree in Animation (BA Hons 2008).

Created many of the marketing videos and regularly got the opportunity to create standalone teaching and demo videos using a range of 3D CG animation packages. Modelling realistic human figures and clinical environments, including virtual reality setups.
Online teaching is fine, it's having a reason to learn with objectives, outcomes and an end result that gives the motivation. There are freeware software packages out there to support many of the aspects of animated film making. For me, it always starts with an idea, a pencil and a piece of paper.
