Riya Parkash

I am student at the University of Warwick and I belong originally from Pakistan. Its been two years since I started tutoring Economics, English and Science, I started with the kids of my neighbourhood just to help them but with the passage of time I started enjoying the process of bonding with the kids along with getting into their heads to get a deep insight of their problems and making them problems of my own until they vanish. In addition to this, being a tutor has taught me selflessness as I started finding my success in their success. This feeling motivated me to continue tutoring and I believe tutoring not only allows me to help others but gives me a chance to see my favourite subjects with different perspectives each time. I have been looking for tutoring jobs since my arrival in the UK to water my thirst of assisting those who need help in the subjects I excel in.
My aim is to first see the subject from my student's perspective and then decide the method with which I have to carry on, the method that makes them fall in love with the subject. I have never wanted to rush a topic until the pupil does not grasps the entire concept even if there is a tiniest bit of confusion I prefer to clear it out.
I introduce my pupils initially with the basic concepts and once the base is developed I introduce them with extra resources that would enhance their knowledge and grasp of the subject.
