Riley Lee

Hello, I am Riley Lee, and I am currently studying at Cardiff University. I am fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

My lessons are aimed at anyone interested in learning Chinese, in terms of reading, writing, speaking and listening. I am fortunate to have been born in a Western and Eastern household therefore both English and Chinese are my mother languages. Hence, I understand student difficulty in learning Chinese as an English speaker.

I hope I can benefit student knowledge of Chinese academically and socially. I can offer help in student school work, in order to improve students’ exams and achieve higher grades. Moreover, I am confident that my lessons will advance student vocabulary and speaking techniques in Chinese. I am a patient and passionate tutor. I can personalise lessons based on student levels and requirements in the Chinese language. I have a year of in-person teaching experience in Chinese and English language in Hong Kong.

-Cantonese language. (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
-Personalised academic tutor

*For beginner learners, I prefer students learning traditional Chinese more than simplified Chinese because it is easier to understand in writing and reading. However, it is the same in speaking and listening.

Yet, I am happy to teach both traditional and simplified Chinese as a student preference.
