Experience has taught me that students have different learning style, and some require more than one. This is why I employ a multimedia approach to teaching. This includes spoken and written instruction with one to one - face to face, as well as utilising presentation and video resources. Stepwise instruction with feedback loops (friendly formative assessments), are augmented also by some independent study exercises, so that students embed learning. My overarching approach is to teach students to own their studies, and therefore become independent thinkers within the discispline I teach. Crucually, I don't bite. I am very friendly and helpful.
