I discuss with my students to identify their needs and I plan my lessons to address these needs. At the beginning of the lesson I set up a target to identify a topic or concept that the student should be able to do which they could not do before the lesson. At the beginning of the lesson I will an initial quick assessment of the student on the given topic to identify a baseline on which I will build and develop the lesson. And finally to make sure that what we set up to achieve at the beginning of the lesson is achieved and the student can do what we set up to do
