Hi there!
My name is Ricardo Rauseo, I am currently a graduate student at the London School of Economics. I am studying for a master's degree in Politics and Communication. I was born in Venezuela and grew up between Caracas and Bogotá, Colombia. Since I was little, I was interested in languages, studying abroad in multiple countries to learn English and French. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in International Studies and settled in Washington, DC while working in Hispanic Comms at a non-profit for 2 and a half years. I later was part of the communication shop for a federal agency under the Biden-Harris Administration.
I am eager to share my language and the nuances of the hispanic communities with my students. My objective is to provide students of all levels exposure, practice and experience and make them feel comfortable with cultural knowledge. I will immerse you in colloquial terminology and frequently used expressions in the countries where you'd like to speak the language at.
I like my classes to be highly engaging, dynamic and interactive. I will help you engage in discussions, role-play, presentations and writing assignments from a beginner to an advanced level. Language is a social construct and I want to teach you how it was built!
