Throughout my student career I have developed a great love for science and so I am now doing a bachelor's degree in biomedical science. I wish to help other students with improving their science related skills (understanding statistics, the environment, scientific articles, sourcing, their own anatomy) as I believe it is essential in order to be a well rounded adult.

I will provide remote, online tutoring or in person sessions depending on the time it would take me to commute. We will go over information and I can suit multiple learning styles. I can provide help with exam techniques and all resources provided are to be kept by the student for future reference.

The sessions will be done via Skype or Zoom and will last 1.5h. I will request to be informed what the student wants to work on at least 12h before our session. In the 1st 15 minutes we will discuss and concerns with previously thought material, I will present what we will work on and give a quick recap of what was previously revised with me if necessary or clarify and sort of confusion. I can also help the student answer challenging questions they encountered before seeing me. In the next hour I will teach or help with question packs and the last 15 will be for questions and scheduling a future tutoring date if desired. The student will submit scans or pictures of their work as they go so that I can mark them as quickly as possible. This is also important so that they can act on my feedback while the session is still ongoing and I can check their understanding.

After a few sessions I will set up a 30 minute quiz before moving on to discuss what feedback they received from their school teacher, going over what they do in class, homework questions and a shorter lesson. At the end I will also provide feedback on the quiz which will be marked by the end of the session and will take note of what needs to be worked on in the future. This is also an opportunity for the student to give me feedback so that we can optimise our time together.
