I am fairly new to online teaching, however I have helped classmates and younger years in the past. I intend to focus on areas which my pupils are struggling or curious in and hope to make the experience enjoyable. I can make a joke and keep things lighthearted whilst delivering the important information necessary for the course! As I have completed biology all the way through to Advanced Higher I believe I am qualified to teach it. I have notes, PowerPoints, videos and worksheets to read and complete to ensure the knowledge I provide stays in present. I intend to briefly go over what we covered in the previous lesson at the beginning of each lesson and do quick recaps at the end of each lesson to ensure my pupil understands the course. I am happy to be flexible with what I teach and how I teach it and am open to do small areas of the course or even the whole thing if necessary! I want to work with my pupil and find out what they want to achieve, and see if I can push them beyond their expectations by allowing them to see how well they can learn.
