I have been tutoring for over two years as of July 2024, immediately after I left high school.

I had completed higher mathematics in high school in 2022 and then went on to complete an Advanced Higher Equivalent. I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science at Napier University, and I plan on becoming a neurosurgeon in the near future.


I tutor up to college-level mathematics (SQA Advanced Higher). I am happy to teach any equivalent courses.


My teaching methods (for every hour of lesson) consist of: 20 minutes of discussing with the pupil through the topic; 10 minutes of example questions; and then 30 minutes of supervised practice questions.

I typically give homework once a week, along with extra reading material. Homework is an OPT-OUT system, so I must be told if there will be no homework; for those who would like extra homework, I am more than happy to accommodate that.

I usually give unit tests every October, January, and March; this is also an OPT-OUT system.

Both homework and test questions will be made in the style of the respective exam boards.


I allow bookings for two blocks per week (one block = one hour). I do not do two-hour lessons; each lesson is £20/h.
