Rhys Hill

Hi, my names Rhys, and I'm currently studying an undergraduate masters degree in physics. I specialise in all areas of physics for teaching up to A-Level students, and I have a particular interest in astrophysics, nuclear physics, and electronics. I am taught by leading experts who work on the biggest experiments and technologies in the world, and love experimental work.

My teaching method will be based purely around your goals and will follow the correct path to maximise your learning experience! I focus on delivering fun, friendly and useful sessions, and do my best to explain headache inducing physical concepts in a simple yet highly effective way. This can involve planned presentations using a group of slides, an interactive session where we can use whiteboards and online writing tools to give help and feedback, a series of questions I find useful and much more.

A base lesson would consist of some slides followed by me showing some examples of questions and then me allowing the student to do some questions guided by me to cover the basic concepts and tricks used when solving different styles of questions which all underpin the topic we are currently learning. I will try to make the lessons as interactive and engaging as possible to help the student understand all the tools necessary to answer any question that may be thrown at them in an exam giving them all the necessary preparation, as well as keeping a logbook of what we have covered on their syllabus and goals for what we want to have covered.
