I like to make my lessons fun, innovative and dynamic.
I encourage my students to take an active and engaged approach to the content and ask questions to facilitate better understanding and learning outcomes.
I'll address the lesson objectives at the start of the lesson before beginning with a starter activity (such as a creative writing exercise) to get the analytical juices flowing.
My approach is often direct as I truly 'practice makes perfect', especially in the context of examinations success. We'll often tackle past paper questions or writing prompts to set the bar for students to aim at in their learning journey.
I'm also a stickler for grammar and will take time to identify and respond to any misunderstandings the student might have on grammar and syntax so that they can build a more solid foundation on the rudiments of the English Language.
I'm adaptable in my approach and will streamline my lessons around the target areas that I've identified as areas of improvement with the student as well as responding to their target queries and questions.
