Rejoice Ibeakanma

I am a graduate of Applied Microbiology and Brewing from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, and a current Master's student at Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, United Kingdom studying Biomedical Laboratory Science. As a young school leaver, I have always had a passion for teaching and an interest in Biology and English, I decided to put this burning enthusiasm into good use by first getting a part-time job as a private tutor even amongst other jobs I engaged in. I have always been an advocate for education and I believe in the ability to develop the potential of students into extraordinary young people. I derive great joy in helping the younger generation to understand new concepts and build their skills. In my experience, all my clients have given positive feedback, emerged as high flyers in their taught subjects, and most importantly improved greatly in their confidence to take on more challenging areas in their previously less preferred subject areas. Amongst other subjects that I cover, my favorites are Biology (because it helps us understand the living world and its interaction with us)and English (one of the widely spoken global languages upon which most communication is made) as these are currently my career focus and where most of my academic successes emerge from. Teaching and learning do not have to be boring, and I have proven this in the past by infusing fun engagements in between learning which elevates the interests of my students and of course yields good outcomes in their grades.
If you do not find me doing anything related to academics, I am either exploring some cooking recipes, seeing a movie, exercising, or traveling.
