I offer detailed lessons aimed to drive the pupil to the path of a 9 in Maths. My lessons include a variety of resources such as past paper practice, practice book question, a guide through the specific exam board you are learning Maths for. In addition, one of the most important things for me as a tutor is to build a clear and confident line of communication with the pupil where they are able to ask me about any questions that they are unsure about so that i can help them overcome these obstacles. My main and sole aim is to boost your child to achieve a 9 in maths and not only that but also enjoy the subject itself. I believe maths is more than just a subject but a language and the more you engage with this language and the more you read about the easier it will become for you to succeed and excel a it. My 98% in Maths was all hard work and effort so if you are willing to put in some serious time and effort in my lessons then i guarantee that you will achieve the grades you are capable of.

Usually a lesson would start with some starter questions that aim to get the pupil thinking and engaging with the subject and then depending on the time of year and how close their exams are i will either do Past paper practice or teach them new content. All my lessons include frequent questions to keep your child focused and to ensure they are understanding every step. I also include summary questions near the end in order to asses how well they have understood the lesson and how much knowledge they have retained.

First couple of lessons will be assessing the pupil's performance and spotting any areas of weakness. However, if lessons are booked as an emergency for upcoming exams i will be glad to skip straight on exam question practice. As a past student myself i have plenty of resources and exam question to go over that all aim to boost their familiarity with question styles and therefore can also improve their time management skills in their actual exams.
