I plan to deliver engaging and fun mathematics lessons aimed at improving the understanding of algebra, shapes, ratio and proportion, geometry, probability and statistics for children attending secondary school who need a boost in their maths skills prior to beginning GCSE. I currently study A level maths and am predicted an A-star, I have also left high school recently with a grade 9 in maths and a score that was 18 points above the grade 9 boundary! Since I was young I have excelled in maths and have a liking for it that I wish to teach to younger students. I believe as I am still studying maths, it will be easy for me to connect and get along with younger students I tutor, making the experience as enjoyable as possible while still educating the children to the standard they need to reach.
