I am an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge studying French and Spanish, now entering into my third year. I have been tutoring for 4 years now, and am really enjoying continuing to help my students progress, both in confidence and competence. My biggest aim is to help students to feel interested in the subject and to start believing in themselves more, as this is most beneficial to them in the long term, and , as this happens, their grades tend to flourish.

I have experience tutoring from year 7 to A-Level, in a range of exam boards, and my students often go on to achieve high grades. I also possess large experience with interacting with children in a foreign language environment as I have au-paired in France. As languages are such a diverse subject, I really relish finding out which parts interest a student more, and therefore adapting to their learning style. For instance, one student may prefer grammar, whilst another may prefer culture, and I will use their strengths to improve their weaknesses. I also make sure to be patient with students, especially since languages aren't easy and they certainly take time to perfect; I have learnt this myself! I also think that communication with the family is key, and I provide lesson reports to flag progress and will always be open to any input from the parents.

I am available to tutor from beginner- A Level, all ages, and also for help in Oxbridge applications.
