In my lessons I always prepare slides to go through the topic from beginning to end with the student. I encourage participation via questions and constantly checking whether the student is understanding the content. When it is around the exam period the lessons will change to focus on exam prep, this includes completing past papers and revision techniques for learning all the content.

I have had a lot of success with my approach on the GoStudent platform where I have completed over 200 sessions. Several of my students have now completed their GCSE's and A-levels with all of them achieving the grade they wanted, and a large proportion of them overachieving.
