About me

I have a range of experience working within a Primary school following the current National Curriculum and EYFS Statutory Framework. I have worked in schools with EAL and SEND children so I know how to adapt to meet the needs of children. Whether these private tutoring sessions are to review learning or develop an area of weakness, I will endeavour to make the learning interactive and worthwhile....
I have a range of experience working within a Primary school following the current National Curriculum and EYFS Statutory Framework. I have worked in schools with EAL and SEND children so I know how to adapt to meet the needs of children. Whether these private tutoring sessions are to review learning or develop an area of weakness, I will endeavour to make the learning interactive and worthwhile. It is important to consider the needs and interests of the child so the lessons are engaging, motivating and meets the learning objectives of a topic or lesson. I will use a range of resources including physical activities, concrete objects, common culture, personal interests, images and key words to support understanding and developing knowledge. As I am currently studying Primary Education, I am very motivated and passionate to make learning fun and engaging but worthwhile. I understand the importance of communicating clearly with parents about how to progress their child’s learning and flourish knowledge and engagement.
