I am a mum of 4 and a grandmother of 8!
I was a nurse for 20 years until ill health caused me to retire.
I have a good level of English vocabulary and great communication skills.
During lockdown I took on the teaching roll for my 2 grandsons of primary age, and taught reading, writing, maths and history, with a little art and science thrown in.
My methods include speech, to include pronunciation of words.
Story reading, to increase understanding, vocabulary and spelling.
Letter formation to improve written skills.
General everyday vocabulary, to enable day to day living to become second nature
