Lessons are tailored to you - get in touch and let me know what you would like to work on and I'll take it from there. I like to make lessons engaging with different types of content - some visual, some text, lots of images to make the lesson as varied as possible. This means that content can be accessible to all sorts of learners!

In my teaching experience, I have taught Dance, Drama, English and PSHE - my range of teaching experience means I am confident in working with written and spoken English. I hold a Masters in Education and have 6 years of teaching experience in a secondary school and sixth form. I have also worked with primary students so can teach the younger age as well.

I like to take a creative approach to lessons to ensure that they are interesting, engaging and progressive. It is important for students to see how they are progressing and I like to make lessons positive - even if something is challenging, there are ways to make progress clear to the student so that they can see they are learning and take pride in their achievements. This helps to build confidence and resilience - knowing you can achieve and make progress even if a particular skill is hard work. I take pride in being positive, welcoming and kind towards my students - it is important that we find common ground and use this to build a connection with the students I work with.
