History is often thought of as a subject that requires a brain-numbingly large amount of textbook recital. Although textbooks can be useful in their contents of the past, there is so much more one can enquire. History is a subject I have fallen in love with, due to its complexities and endless possibilities. The lessons I intend to teach will chew through all the required content one needs to be able to analyse the past. Whilst savouring the 3-dimensional, temporal and spatial significance of historic event.
Any body can teach history from the textbook, but very few can make you truly appreciate and understand it’s significance. A tutor with less experience will help you understand concepts that you may struggle with. An excellent one can inspire you to love the very essence of that struggle. I believe that I can inspire this type of learning that engages opposed to disengages students.
Lessons will be catered to the individuals needs and learning types. This dedication to the individual stems from young children to late historical bloomers. I have taught people seeking job interviews and required the skills of historical analysis for a job. I have taught professionals the skills needed to continually ask bigger questions so that they may better equip themselves in cultural understanding and knowledge.
I have a level-5 qualification in TEFL and experience in teaching conversational English, English literature and creative writing. My proficiency and expertise will be used to construct progressive writing, reading and learning styles for all ages.
