I'm most used to providing lessons in a presentation format, with slides and student interaction working as the foundations of my teaching methods. I like to start with a session zero to confirm how a student would like to learn and assess the viability of the plan.
From there I can formulate a curriculum or take a more procedural approach depending on the needs of the of group, or any individual students. Typically I will recommend any additional studying to be done depending on the results of performance reviews or the outcomes of classes held with me.
As far as additional homework, assignments, and out of hours contact goes, this does incur extra charges given that I am not a salaried teacher and can't sustainably organise extra curricular materials. This is something you can bring up if it's a course of learning you're interested in :)
I hope to hear from you!
