The first session with myself will see us use a detailed specification check to RAG rate the students confidence and knowledge of the modular content. A bespoke plan can the be made targeting areas of weakness.


Sessions will start with a recap retrieval of what was covered in prior session and printing students knowledge for what will be covered in the current session.

Then we will break down concepts into manageable chunks, then assessment of understanding will be done with low stake questioning which will work up to application to exam questions. Sessions can cover AO1 & AO3 at once or can be spilt across two sessions depending on the strengths of the student and complexity of the content.

Homework can be set between sessions, either exam question practice or independent research to broaden and strengthen understanding of core concepts.

Having studied psychology and sociology for over 12 years, the depth and power of my knowledge means I understand synoptic links across the modules which reduce workload for the student but maximise performance.
