I will be using multiple different techniques to teach pupils as we progress throughout our lessons. I will use online techniques for example Microsoft Word as well as Power Point to engage the pupils and keep an interest in the subject at hand. Additionally, I will look over past papers and set past paper questions for pupils to attempt to do after lessons, adhering to the mark scheme when giving work back. This helps to fix any mistakes that may be made and prepare them for a real exam, as well as point out any issues that are repetitive within their work. During face to face lessons, I may also use certain revision techniques that I used such as mind maps to learn literary devices that are necessary in literature. I will work on their understanding of topics and devices through using quick fire questions, quizzes and rhymes that will assist in memorising certain terms throughout the duration of my lessons. This helps pupils not only to engage in lessons but also to find ways that will help the pupil’s individual needs through the use of different techniques
