Hello! I'm a friendly, highly qualified ESOL teacher. I've taught at top schools including King's College London and Kaplan International. I've been teaching since 2012, and have a Trinity DipTESOL and a CELTA as well as a degree in English Literature. I'm a native speaker and have an RP accent.

I do lots of different types of English, but I specialise in:

- pronunciation
- conversational English, especially fluency and listening
- IELTS
- Cambridge exams, especially CAE and FCE
- young learners, especially small children (4-8) and teenagers (13-18)
- academic skills, preparing for university
- academic writing
- medical English (beyond IELTS)

I adapt my teaching style to each student, but usually I'll send a student a video to watch or a text to read, and questions to answer about it, before the class. Then in class we check the answers, discuss the video/text and what you think about it, and look at some grammar or vocabulary from it. I'll also give you feedback from the conversation and teach any other language that comes up.

My lessons are very practical, focused on the type of English you'll use in your life. I also introduce you to tools to help you when you don't understand everything.

We can discuss many different topics. I've often discussed life in the UK versus other countries, our families, history, science, music, books, TV and films, politics and current events, and work and business with my students.

I've taught learners with many different first languages, especially Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Spanish, French, and Russian.
