I have a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra, Santiago, Dominican Republic. I enclose two Master, one in Business Administration and the other in Pedagogy, from the same university.
I am an enthusiastic and motivating educator with academic experience in undergraduate and post-graduate programs. I have had 16 years of exceptional success developing and implementing Human Resources subsystems for the free zone, banking, telecommunications, and hospitality companies.
As a professor, I taught courses on Introduction to Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Motivation for High Performance, and HR Administration, among others. I also implemented new teaching strategies, always motivating the students to achieve their best and maximum performance. Likewise, I collaborated with the Psychology Department in the revision of the syllabus regarding organizational psychology.
Aside from teaching, I also held the Director of Psychology Department position for three years. One of my most outstanding professional achievements in that position was redesigning the Psychology career study plan at Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). The project was completed in two years, approved, and implemented considering the specific competencies requirements of the psychology degree at PUCMM.
Teaching is a learning process for students, colleagues, parents, and the community. Learning is a lifelong process where teachers can constantly improve with different strategies and ideas. It's probably that my educational philosophy has changed over the years. But I believe that all students are unique and must have an exciting academic environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. I work to create an atmosphere where students can meet their full potential and provide them with a safe environment where they are invited to share their ideas, make mistakes, and take risks.
