I have approx 2 years teaching experience. I taught EFL at Sogang Language Program Academy in South Korea for about 1 year teaching to kindergarten up to the age of 14 year old students. I taught a wide range of subjects; maths, science, art, drama, book club, writing class, and phonics.
I followed a variety of class guidelines (for each class) and adapted them to cater to my students abilities, level and age. All my focus was on creating lesson plans to excite, motivate and elevate my student's learning experience through games, working in teams, couples, and individually. The students would ask each other questions and answer them through actions or writing on the board. Lots of different techniques, songs and activities to help the students remember words or actions.
Here, I had up to 15 students in one class.
I have also gained 1 year teaching EFL online with; Landi Recruitment and iTutorGroup.
I taught young children at Landi Recruitment where I taught either 1 to 1 classes or classes up to 2 children.
Here I was provided the materials and adapted each class to meet the needs to the students.
I taught young children up to adults at iTutorGroup with classes of up to 6 students, or 1 to 1 with adults where I would teach Business English.
I would have the students read part of the paragraph of the materials provided, and ask them questions. Then I would have them interact with each other, by having them ask each other questions and answering to each other.
