I like to implement VARK learning styles in all my lessons to better engage Visual, auditory, reading and writing and kinaesthetic learners.
I like to use crowd pleasing recipes to start making students feel comfortable and confident, and then move onto harder recipes to build confidence.

I understand that everyone has their own pace when it comes to learning new skills, this is why I like to gather feedback as often as I can to make the experience as beneficial as it can be.

I also like to ask my students questions, as to what they feel comfortable with or what they would like to learn so I can change lesson plans and recipes according to their wishes.

I am highly adaptable when it comes to lesson planning and am able to improvise. For example if the ingredients need to be substituted I am able to do so and can think on my feet. Without making anyone feel anxious I swiftly move on.

Coming back to the teaching styles again, I like to send out information via printouts, PowerPoints, videos.
