Teaching computer science is simple when a proper method is used to teach student during in-person sessions. The student from every age group can learn computer science. for instance let us say i have to teach a concept of looping to a child who is in fifth grade for whom computers are boring subject. I would take help of visual programming language to make child understand clearly. I usually start making things creative and my session interactive to avoid boredom. i will ask child to clap once in first round. then i will ask him to clap 5 times in second round. then in third round i will ask him to clap one by one. then via the visuals on screen i would ask the child politely to do the same thing from his side to make the character on screen to clap same once then 5 times and finally one by one. The child will get the idea that number i write on screen is number of times character is clapping. which is how the loop concept gets clear to him. the number of times you wanna make the character clap and how many number of times is you wanna repeat the process is looping. The platform i use for visual programming is scratch here. This is how i teach in my class and I cover a range of topics, such as programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. The format and content of all lessons will vary depending on the person's level of proficiency, but generally I involve and assure a highly interactive and personalized approach to learning. The dynamics of personal tutoring is highly interactive, with the student asking unlimited questions, student can give feedback, and student can get offering guidance throughout the lesson.
