I have been teaching KS2 Maths and English for 4 months now. I have successfully achieved an 8 in English. It is important to keep students engaged at all points during the lesson so I have methods varying from mini games to mini breaks to refresh their attention. My lessons are generally split Maths and English but for a focus on English I intend to split 1 hour English Language and 1 hour English Literature. For KS2 it will be 45 minutes of comprehensive skills with 1hr 25 on SPaG skills like spelling, and composition of sentences such as sentence structures and help with writing tasks.

I am also competent in teaching 11+ as I have taken the exam and passed it. I have also completed education at a Secondary Grammar in Kent, Wilmington Grammar School for Girls. A test will be conducted to help decipher what pace the students work at. This will help me grab a rough scope of where each student will need help with.
