I'm a Spanish international student at the University of Bristol. With training in teaching modern languages, I'm able to prepare teaching sessions adapted to the different needs of students. One of the best aspects of being a native speaker of Spanish is the possibility to connect both with the language and the culture from a first-person perspective. My teaching methods are specialised, depending of the different needs and levels. However, one of the most important things that I keep in mind while preparing the lessons is motivation. It is essential for learning, and thus I try to find the way to keep students motivated, and willing to learn and embrace the language. Moreover, as a native speaker, I try to include cultural aspects in teaching so that students can feel the language not just with grammar and vocabulary, but in a wider sense.
