I will choose the topic which is close to my student so the basic familiarities can nurture the next level of comprehension of the text. This process will co-create some basic knowledge between us and clear a way to go ahead further with growing understanding on the topic. If I want to teach caste system to an European student. Caste system is unique in India. It not only divides society hierarchical but also protect itself as it is based on Hindu religious sanctions. Since, It is based on religious doctrine it can not be changed. If one born in a caste, he or she will remain the lifetime member of the same involuntarily. It is undebated so undemocratic system to keep people in their indigenous groups separately. In Indian caste system there are four closed groups i.e. Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaisya and Shudhra. The first three are previlliaged but the fourth one is called untouchable and under-privileged. The caste hierarchical position assign them the nature of occupation, wealth and prestige. Since, caste system provides the religious prestige to each group, their status will remain unchanged generation to generations. Bhrahmin is called the superior. India is having world's largest democracy but it is failed to give equal opportunity and status to each groups. It is noteworthy to mention that this system also assign a lower status to the women and protect patriarchy.
