I plan ahead my lesson. I create starter questions to refresh the students mind.

I would then focus on a specific topic in maths where I would explain a few examples and then make sure the student understands the worked examples. If not i will repeat them or use additional worked examples to show different ways to answer the questions. I would then provide the student with a range of questions starting from easy to hard. I will find resources from online but also would be using text books and also make my own power points to aid my lesson.

Year 9 Tutoring - It was a paid role at my sixth form where I taught the students mathematics. I have taken this on board and now work as a tutor outside of school for primary school children in my neighbourhood. This allows me to widen my knowledge and experience the interaction with a group which helps me enhance my communication skills. It's made me responsible as I have to plan lessons and deliver them well.
